Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements for the Jira SME role:
- Active SC Clearance
- Experience in the Defence sector
- Expertise in Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Software (JSW), and Confluence
- Understanding of ITSM principles, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management
- Proficiency in JSM Automations, Workflows, and Assets (Insight)
- Strong grasp of Jira Query Language (JQL)
- Familiarity with ITIL 4, Agile, or DevOps frameworks
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (such as PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs)
Responsibilities
As a Jira SME, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expertise on Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Confluence to enhance team productivity and efficiency
- Implementing and managing ITSM principles and workflows
- Developing automations and managing assets within Jira
- Utilizing Jira Query Language for reporting and data analysis
- Collaborating with teams to adopt ITIL 4, Agile, or DevOps methodologies
Description
