Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Senior Game Developer with expertise in Unity development, specifically C#, scriptable objects, gameplay scripting, and data management. Experience with version control systems such as Plastic SCM or Git is essential. You should also possess knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and build management practices to ensure efficient deployment. A strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices is required. Additionally, experience integrating third-party SDKs and APIs into Unity projects will be beneficial. Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to develop high-quality Unity applications that align with client requirements. You will optimize performance across various hardware platforms to ensure a smooth user experience. Collaborating with QA teams to implement and maintain testing strategies is a key part of your duties. You will also support project planning by estimating tasks, evaluating risks, and prioritizing requirements. Working closely with stakeholders, including designers, product managers, and clients, will be crucial to refining and enhancing our solutions. Furthermore, I expect you to ensure seamless integration of art assets while maintaining visual fidelity. Staying up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices will be vital to enhance our development processes.
Description
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring you to be in our Warwick office 1-2 days a week while allowing for 3 days of remote work. The role is set as a 3-month contract with the possibility of extensions. Please note that this opportunity is outside IR35.
