Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience across IT infrastructure, networking, and cyber security
- Experience managing MSPs and third-party vendors
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure/Entra)
- Understanding of PCI DSS and security compliance
- Experience in multi-site environments (hospitality or retail preferred)
- A confident leader who can balance strategy with hands-on oversight
- Ideally based in the North West, with regular access to our Warrington Head Office and direct reports
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the companys entire IT landscape, including infrastructure, networking, cyber security, and compliance
- Set the direction for the IT strategy and make key decisions
- Ensure smooth, secure, and efficient IT operations
- Work closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to hold them accountable for performance and incident management
- Lead on cyber security initiatives and PCI DSS compliance
- Oversee security scanning, risk management, and remediation
- Manage key technology vendors and support multi-site operations
- Play a key role in new site openings from planning through to launch
- Guide the Helpdesk function and develop your team
- Improve processes to ensure fast, effective, and scalable support across the business
Description
We are New World Trading Company, a growing, ambitious hospitality business located in Warrington. We offer a salary starting from £60,000, depending on experience, and an opportunity to work 3 days per week in the office, with 2 days being home or site-based. In this leadership role, you will have the autonomy to shape IT strategy, lead on cyber security and compliance, and make a real impact in our fast-moving business.
