Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with a Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics.
- A minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in SQL development is essential.
- Advanced skills in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performing performance tuning are required.
- Solid hands-on experience with SSIS and ETL development is necessary.
- Knowledge of BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SSAS) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are expected.
- Experience in fast-paced, agile environments with a proactive and solution-focused approach is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, are a must.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within global and culturally diverse teams is essential.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to design, develop, and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to access and process data from diverse systems.
- You will build and manage reliable ETL pipelines using SQL and SSIS to support enterprise-wide data integration and transformation.
- Your role will include optimizing SQL code and ETL workflows to enhance performance and scalability.
- You will develop and maintain SSIS packages to ensure accurate and consistent data processing.
- Supporting operational reporting systems by resolving issues raised by users and stakeholders will be part of your responsibility.
- You may assist in the development of .NET/Windows services for data processing tasks as preferred.
- I expect you to carry out data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and quality checks to meet technical and business requirements.
- Working closely with analytics teams to translate business needs into technical solutions will be vital.
- You will follow best practices in database design and coding, contributing to code reviews and collaborative development.
- Creating clear technical documentation for data processes and workflows will be necessary.
