We are looking for candidates who possess algorithm development experience with low-latency modern C++ and data engineering practices using KDB+/q.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Quant Algo Developer in our Equity Derivatives team, I will expect you to:
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions utilizing industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring that your code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with our business objectives.
- Work closely with your peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations while actively contributing to our technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
Description
This role is based out of our London office, and we require you to work in the office full-time. Some flexibility may be available after the probation period.
