Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in developing backend services using Python, along with a working knowledge of Java and/or .NET. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle PL/SQL or similar technologies are essential. You should also have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD automation. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing frameworks, and modern monitoring/observability tools is important. A commitment to open, transparent, and collaborative engineering practices is a must.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Developer on our engineering team, I will have you contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality backend services and infrastructure platforms. You will develop and maintain backend services primarily using Python and provide support for our services built in Java and .NET, ensuring seamless integration and reliability. I expect you to enhance existing solutions using Oracle SQL PL, work with various relational databases, and optimize data models, queries, and stored procedures for performance and maintainability.
You will also be responsible for building, deploying, and managing applications on cloud platforms, utilizing modern DevOps tools and practices such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux-based systems. Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on automation, continuous deployment, testing, and monitoring will be part of your role. Additionally, you will develop software using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensure high quality through continuous testing and feedback loops.
