We are looking for a hands-on Senior Databricks Engineer with extensive Databricks experience, including Unity Catalog. You should have strong skills in Python, Spark, and SQL, along with experience in SQL databases. Familiarity with Terraform for cloud infrastructure as code and experience with Azure and workflow tools such as Airflow and ADF is essential. We value excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. Experience across both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is important. We seek individuals who are curious, inclusive, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities
As our Senior Databricks Engineer, you will lead the delivery of scalable data solutions in an Agile environment. Your key responsibilities include translating business strategy into data solutions, providing technical leadership by breaking initiatives into Features, Epics, and Stories, and collaborating with the Data Architect to design and implement data architecture and build plans. You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines, optimize data systems for performance, and implement data quality processes. Additionally, you will operate CI/CD practices in Azure DevOps, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and ensure adherence to governance standards. You will also manage and mentor a small team of Data Engineers, driving best practices and consistency.
