Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Warehouse development
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex stored procedures and query optimization
- Expertise in SSIS and SQL Server Database
- Proven track record in delivering scalable and reliable Data Warehouse solutions
- Strong data modeling and dimensional modeling skills (including slowly changing dimensions)
- Experience with data quality and data profiling
- ETL/ELT design and development experience
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining large/complex Data Warehouse systems (desirable)
- Familiarity with Tableau (desirable)
- Experience with Azure Data Storage, Azure Data Lakes, and Azure SQL DB (desirable)
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, releases, etc.) (desirable)
- Third Level Qualification in Computer Science/IT or relevant work experience
- MS/Azure certifications are desirable
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL procedures for data intake from internal and external sources
- Ensure data verification and quality checks
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders on data warehouse architecture development
- Work with business analysts and project managers to refine reporting and analytics requirements
- Engage in complex projects requiring a deep understanding of technologies and business
- Clarify business requirements and perform systems analysis and development activities
- Assist in planning sessions to analyze business requirements and provide design recommendations
- Write clear technical specifications based on complex business requirements
- Translate business and technical requirements into business application systems
