Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone with over 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. You should possess strong SQL skills and have extensive experience with Amazon Redshift, as well as ideally MySQL. Proficiency in AWS Glue and Python for ETL processes is essential, as are strong data modeling and dashboard development skills. Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Amazon QuickSight, is also required. You should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and have good communication, mentoring abilities, and a proactive, collaborative approach. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is a plus. We appreciate curiosity, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Having knowledge of SAP Business Objects would be nice to have.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will define and implement both short- and long-term Data & MI reporting strategies. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Designers, DevOps teams, and various business stakeholders. Youll develop and maintain MI/BI reports and dashboards, ideally in QuickSight. Additionally, you will be responsible for building, testing, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, Python, and SQL. Analyzing complex reporting requirements and delivering scalable solutions will be key components of your responsibilities. You will also review and validate report accuracy and data integrity, recommend improvements to reporting processes and standards, and mentor junior team members while supporting the resolution of data/reporting issues.
