Requirements
Must:
- I require excellent SQL development and SSIS development skills.
- Some knowledge or experience with SSRS or Power BI would be beneficial.
- Financial services industry experience, particularly in insurance, is advantageous.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- In this hands-on role, you will design, develop, and optimize solutions using SQL and SSIS to support enterprise data needs.
- You will act as the SQL expert within our London team and will use your initiative to drive your vision forward and spearhead new projects.
- Collaboration with various specialist teams, including reporting and analytics, will be key in designing end-to-end solutions.
- You will engage with general business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that solutions are fit-for-purpose.
Description
This position is perfect for a seasoned SQL/ETL Developer looking to take real ownership of their work in a demanding and dynamic environment, making a lasting and valuable impact on our high-profile insurance client. Please note that this role requires an immediate start, and therefore, it is only open to candidates who are immediately available. You will likely spend 1-2 days per week in the client’s Central London office; hence, it is necessary to live within a commutable distance.
