Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (reporting, dashboards, data visualization).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, query optimization, database design).
- Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development.
- Solid understanding of DAX for calculations and performance tuning.
- Experience in data modelling (dimensional modelling, fact/dimension tables).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory) - preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI Service, gateways, and deployment pipelines - preferred.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) - preferred.
- Understanding of data governance and security practices - preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
- Develop and manage ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Build and maintain robust data models (star and snowflake schemas) for reporting and analytics.
- Create efficient and scalable DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Document data flows, models, and reporting logic.
