Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Platform Engineer who possesses hands-on experience with the following key skills and technologies:
- Proficiency in Terraform for Azure infrastructure automation
- Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of Azure Private Link and Private Link Service configuration
- Familiarity with Databricks and Unity Catalog for data governance
- Understanding of Azure Policy and compliance enforcement
- Experience with identity and access management, specifically OAuth and federated credentials
- Strong knowledge of Azure security best practices, including BCDR and high availability
- Ability to implement cost management and optimization strategies within Azure
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure. Your main objectives will include enabling advanced data services and ensuring compliance across various environments. You will support the rollout and maintenance of a federated, multi-service Data & AI platform. By utilizing your expertise in infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native security practices, you will contribute to cutting-edge cloud infrastructure projects focusing on scalability, governance, and cost optimization.
Description
This is a 3-month contract position offered on a competitive day rate. The work will be carried out remotely for UK-based applicants, with occasional travel to client and team sites as needed.
