Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Head of Data or similar leadership role in data management
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, privacy, and security standards
- Expertise in data architecture, including pipelines and storage solutions
- Ability to build and mentor high-performing data teams across various disciplines
- Experience with analytics, data science, and advanced analytics techniques
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in business contexts
- Familiarity with data compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, working with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Define and own the company-wide data strategy aligned with business goals
- Establish data governance, quality, privacy, and security standards
- Act as a senior data leader and advisor to the executive leadership team
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing data teams, including analytics and data engineering
- Own the design and evolution of the data architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Partner with engineering to incorporate data solutions into core products
- Enable self-serve analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization
- Deliver impactful insights to inform strategy and operations
- Define key metrics, KPIs, and data models to create a single source of truth
- Lead the development of predictive models and advanced analytics initiatives
- Ensure compliance with data regulations and implement best practices for data privacy
