Requirements
Must:
- You must have proven experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure as code.
- A strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD principles is essential.
- You should have extensive experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog for advanced data governance.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Private Link and Private Link Service is required.
- A strong understanding of Azure security best practices and compliance is necessary.
- Experience in identity and access management is a must.
- Familiarity with Azure cost management strategies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- I will require you to build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
- You will implement governance and compliance controls, including Azure Policy.
- Your role will involve configuring and managing Azure Private Link and Private Link Service.
- I need you to enable advanced data services with Databricks and Unity Catalog for data governance.
- You will develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- I expect you to ensure security best practices, including Defense in Depth, BCDR, and high availability.
- You will manage identity and access, including OAuth and federated credentials.
- Lastly, I will need you to optimise cloud costs and monitor usage effectively.
Description
This position requires you to be based in the UK with unrestricted right to work in the UK, as my organisation is not able to offer sponsorship. You must be available to start in November. This is an outside IR35 contract that allows for home-based work. The initial term is set for 3 months with potential for extension, offering a competitive day rate of £400-£500.
