Requirements
Must:
You must have strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spark. A solid understanding of Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and Synapse is essential. We are looking for a proven track record in building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Experience working in hybrid environments and with cross-functional teams is also required. Please note that you must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to enhance and scale the existing Azure Databricks environment. You will collaborate with data architects and analysts to deliver robust data pipelines. It is important that you implement best practices for data engineering, performance tuning, and security. You will also work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact project within a major enterprise, and it offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, requiring you to be onsite in Newcastle 2-3 days per week. The position comes with a competitive day rate outside IR35, and we are looking for a quick turnaround with interviews happening this week and a start date as soon as possible.
