Must:
We require candidates to be UK Nationals with a minimum of 5 years residency, as BPSS clearance is essential. You should have proven experience in DataStage Designer and mapping development, as well as a strong understanding of MOSAIC or IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies. Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and related data manipulation technologies is necessary, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira. Additionally, we expect you to possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will engage you in designing, developing, and implementing DataStage mappings that align with our project requirements and best practices. You will apply MOSAIC or IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure effective data transformation. Collaboration will be key, as you will work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver robust solutions. You will implement XML, XSLT, and other relevant technologies for data manipulation and transformation, use Jira for project management and task tracking, and maintain high standards of code quality, efficiency, and performance. Additionally, I will expect you to provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Description
This position is offered as a 7-month contract, with a rate of £350 per day (Inside IR35). The role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere.
