We are seeking a Data Analytics Developer who possesses a strong expertise in Power BI dashboard and report development, along with proficiency in DAX. A solid experience in SQL / T-SQL for data extraction and transformation is essential, as well as hands-on experience with Azure technologies, including Data Lake, Data Factory, and Synapse. You should have familiarity with data modeling techniques, such as star/snowflake schemas and normalization, and an understanding of ETL processes while working alongside Data Engineers. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must, and preferably, you should have experience in the insurance industry, ideally within reinsurance. Desirable experience includes exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), tools like Looker, Domo, or Tableau, and experience with Salesforce, specifically CRMA reporting.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will count on you to design, develop, and maintain high-impact dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across our UK and US teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Collaborating with Data Engineers will be essential to support the ongoing enhancement of our cloud-native data platform. You will perform data modeling to ensure accurate and scalable reporting, assist in managing the Power BI environment, including DAX development and workspace administration, and contribute to ETL processes and data transformation workflows within the Azure Data Platform. Additionally, I will involve you in supporting the future transition to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and tools like Looker, providing you exposure to modern data technologies.
