Must:
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in implementing solutions involving Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse. You should possess an excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and data modeling. A solid grasp of SQL, T-SQL, ETL/ELT, Azure Data Lake (required), and Data Pipelines is essential. Additionally, you must have strong hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies, preferably with a focus on Azure.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to design and implement effective reports while assisting our Data Engineering function in developing the Data Platform. You will provide reports through tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to guide, influence, and challenge technology teams and stakeholders regarding the benefits, pros, and cons of solution options will be crucial. You will also deliver multiple solutions using key techniques such as Governance, Architecture, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Master Data, and BI. Proactively improving data quality will be vital, which includes undertaking data cleansing, validation, testing, and reconciliation to enhance the reliability and accuracy of our data assets.
