Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with recent hands-on experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) such as Thales, Entrust, or Gemalto. You should possess proficiency in HSM monitoring tools, strong automation and scripting skills (preferably in Python), and a solid background in Cryptography or Information Security. An ITIL Foundation certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field are essential. Additionally, excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills are required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be managing and configuring HSMs, monitoring their health using appropriate tools, and automating cryptographic processes. You will also be responsible for SSH key and certificate lifecycle management, generating key components across various platforms, and supporting incident, change, and problem management in alignment with ITIL standards. Accurate documentation and maintaining audit trails will be part of your duties, along with collaborating with stakeholders across security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
Description
This contract position offers a competitive pay rate of £350 per day (Inside IR35) and involves a hybrid working model requiring you to be onsite in Knutsford for 2 days per week. Experience in operational IT security roles, familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA, as well as knowledge of Unix/Windows OS, would be considered advantageous.
