Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience working with Power BI
- Strong experience with:
- DAX
- Power Query
- Data modeling concepts
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience integrating Python scripts within Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- (Preferred) Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Build efficient data models using DAX and Power Query (M language)
- Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.)
- Use Python scripting for advanced data transformation and cleaning
- Perform statistical analysis and forecasting using Python
- Automate data workflows with Python
- Integrate Python with Power BI datasets
- Optimize report performance and data refresh strategies
- Implement row-level security and governance best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, data flows, and scripts
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy
