Must:
We are looking for you, an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a strong focus on Databricks. You should have at least 5 years of hands-on expertise with Databricks, including skills in PySpark, notebooks, clusters, and Delta Lake. A solid understanding of Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, and Event Hub is essential. You'll need experience collaborating with DevOps teams and working with CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, we expect you to be comfortable handling environments with large user bases and to possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to work independently in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement data pipelines using Azure Databricks. You'll collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth data integration. Optimizing the performance of large-scale data processing workloads will be a key part of your job. You'll work with stakeholders to understand application states and their data requirements, while ensuring best practices in data governance, security, and compliance are followed.
Description
This position is a 3-month contract with the possibility of rolling extensions. We offer competitive day rates, ranging from £450 to £500 per day, and the role is outside IR35. Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment while making a significant impact on our data solutions.
