Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with proven expertise in the Azure ecosystem. You should have strong skills in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, SQL Database, and Azure Storage. Excellent SQL and data modeling skills (including star/snowflake and dimensional modeling) are essential. Familiarity with Power BI dataflows, DAX, and Row-Level Security (RLS) is required. Additionally, you should have experience with Python, PySpark, or T-SQL for transformations, alongside a solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices (Git, YAML pipelines). A strong grasp of data governance, security, and performance tuning is also important.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure tools such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. You will build efficient ETL/ELT processes and data models to support analytics, reporting, and dashboards. Optimizing existing pipelines to enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency will be a key focus. You will implement best practices for data quality, error handling, automation, and monitoring, while managing data security and governance. Maintaining documentation and metadata for data assets and pipeline architecture is crucial. You will collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver trusted data products and provide technical support to troubleshoot production issues. Lastly, you will actively contribute to improving our data engineering processes and development lifecycle.
