Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years’ experience working at a senior level in an ICT environment, including 2 years’ experience in the management of staff or projects.
- Professional Management qualification.
- Ability to make complex decisions and prioritize the team’s workload to deliver improved outcomes in line with the IT Services strategy.
- Advanced in using IT service management tools to accurately capture data relating to ITIL processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical vulnerability assessments of IT systems and processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and making recommendations to control any risks identified.
- Lead and respond rapidly to IT security incidents, including computer forensics for evidence gathering and preservation.
- Oversee information and Cyber security risk register and carry out actions to mitigate risks identified.
- Liaise with external security agencies where required and ensure that any information requested is provided on a timely and secure basis.
Description
We are a busy local authority in North West London, seeking to add an IT Security Manager to our ICT operations team. This role is offered on a contract basis until March 2026, with the possibility of extension. We provide a mainly remote working environment, with a rate of pay set at ÂŁ700 a day umbrella (Inside IR35). We prioritize hiring those with specific skills and experiences to enhance our ICT operations.
