Requirements
Must:
- Proven 2nd line support experience in complex environments
- Windows Operating Systems / Active Directory Administration
- Microsoft security patching deployment to endpoints and Servers
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure and Networking principles
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and technical skills
- Experience working in a busy environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Security Cleared to NPPV3 & SC Level (able to obtain or already obtained)
- Clean UK Driving License
- Knowledge and administration of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Systems
- Knowledge and administration of Integrated Communication Control System (ICCS)
- Support for Fire Station End / GD92 / Mobile Data Terminal
- Experience with Azure and Office 365 Backup and DR Solutions
- Manage Engine experience
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM, InTune, and Mobile Device Management
- Worked within a service level driven environment
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line ICT support for a range of ICT / hardware, applications, networks, and systems
- Design, test, and implement new systems and technologies in a timely manner
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping, and processes
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure resolution to agreed SLAs and standards
- Conduct infrastructure life cycle management and capacity planning
- Form part of the 24x7 duty rota after a period of training and assessment (1 week in every 4 weeks)
- Work within the framework and guidelines of ITIL processes and policies, ensuring alignment to best practices
