Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with Cisco ISE, ASA, Meraki, and Umbrella
- Expertise in Cisco switches and routers, and Meraki devices
- Proficiency in maintenance and firmware upgrades
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Security, network management tools, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and routing protocols
- Understanding of data, network, and transport layers of communication or networking systems, IPV4/6, TCP, and emerging protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze trends and patterns related to network performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and conflict resolution
Responsibilities
- Act as a single point of contact for the Corporate LAN Network, advocating for customer needs
- Provide technical solutions, design architecture, and support across modern networks
- Respond to escalated problems and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues
- Update and document Service Requests on a Remedy system
- Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota for outside normal working hours support
- Maintain current knowledge on products and technology
- Escalate product defects to appropriate divisions or third parties
- Attend customer meetings to build relationships and manage situations
- Deliver support and synchronize communication between Technical Support teams, NOC, and customers
- Identify control mechanisms and recovery paths for system components
- Conduct network performance analysis and proactive maintenance to avoid issues
- Prepare and execute service migration MOPs, network upgrades, and retrofits
- Ensure timely notifications of anomalies to avoid operational impacts
- Analyze technical documents and propose Action Plans when applicable
- Attend meetings with customers, suppliers, and teams as required
- Undertake special projects or tasks for self-development as requested by management
