Requirements
Must:
- An interest in Cyber Security
- HND or above in an engineering/Computer discipline, ideally Networks
- Keen to build experience with producing or maintaining Cyber security processes and procedures
- Looking to gain experience with maintaining and configuring firewalls including Cisco and Juniper
- Learning how to design, build, test, and maintain network equipment, including Switches, Routers, and firewalls
- Familiarity with Windows Server architectures
- Effective communicator (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrable emotional intelligence to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a challenging environment
Responsibilities
- Work with the network and security team focused on building and maintaining network and security systems
- Produce system design documentation
- Create Cyber Security documentation and processes
- Support the creation of cyber security documentation to meet customer standards
- Design, test, and deliver network upgrades for our customers
Description
We are Telent, and we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Systems Engineer to join the Transport side of our business. This is a permanent position based from our office near Canning Town, where you will ideally attend at least once a week. Our team supports both the projects and maintenance teams delivering works across London Underground and Network Rail systems.
