Requirements
Must:
- MS in Physics/Optical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge in Optical Design
- Strong proficiency in commercial optical software tool, Ansys Zemax OpticStudio
- Solid understanding of optimization methods
- Experience with Python
- Ability to analyze and debug complex technical issues in customer environments
- Excellent technical documentation and presentation skills
- Experience with other commercial optical software tools (e.g. Ansys Speos, Ansys Lumerical, Code V, LucidShape, Lighttools) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on optical solutions
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and hands-on workshops to showcase product capabilities and value
- Provide in-depth technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting, optimization, and integration assistance for Ansys Zemax OpticStudio
- Collaborate with internal R&D teams to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, application notes, and best practice guides
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization
