Requirements
Must:
We require a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of security tool implementation projects (SIEM, Proxy, EDR, DLP, and SEG).
- A minimum of 7 years in security architecture.
- Expertise in cyber security and incident response.
- Familiarity with both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
- Understanding of threat modeling and zero trust architecture.
- Proficiency in Active Directory and networking concepts (Firewalls, proxies, VPNs).
Responsibilities
As a Security Architect, you will be tasked with:
- Designing and developing security architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Establishing security architecture frameworks and developing secure-by-design guidelines.
- Collaborating with the DevSecOps team to maintain a secure development lifecycle.
- Performing security risk assessments for new technologies and major initiatives.
- Leading evaluations and proof-of-concept efforts for security tools and platforms.
- Collaborating with other operational teams to integrate threat modeling into architecture planning.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for secure system and infrastructure/application architecture.
- Providing mentorship and training to technical staff on secure design principles.
- Offering expert guidance on securing application and critical infrastructure components.
Description
This is a contractual position located in our Central London office with a hybrid work requirement (on-site 3 days a week). You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of security monitoring and control effectiveness measures. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise within our Cyber Security team as needed. The role requires availability to cover business hours from 7 AM to 7 PM on all business days. The daily rate for this position ranges from £600.00 to £800.00.
