Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of overall Treasury or ALM experience in a medium to large size bank, preferably as a consultant
- 5 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing ALM and interest rate risk solutions in QRM, preferably as a consultant
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, ETL, and SAS for data manipulation
- Experience in independent analysis, base and stress scenarios, measuring and monitoring IRR metrics with database management, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into efficient solutions in the QRM framework
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory guidelines, including Basel III and EBA IRR guidelines
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently on complex tasks
- Robust project management skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement risk modeling using the QRM framework for risk analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within the banking book
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive stakeholder engagement
- Provide independent analysis and data manipulation using SQL and SAS
- Monitor and measure interest rate risk metrics
- Translate business and regulatory needs into actionable strategies in QRM
- Manage complex tasks effectively and independently
- Report on findings and compliance with Basel III and EBA guidelines
