Requirements
Must:
- Degree in Computer Science, UX, HCI, Linguistics, Design, or equivalent experience
- Experience building conversational interfaces (chatbots, voice assistants, virtual agents)
- Hands-on experience with generative AI models and prompt engineering
- Strong understanding of user-centred design and conversational interaction patterns
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with LLM platforms, orchestration frameworks, and AI tooling (additional skill)
- Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and semantic search (additional skill)
- Knowledge of NLP concepts and evaluation methods (additional skill)
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments (additional skill)
- Background in UX writing, linguistics, or service design (additional skill)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement conversational flows and interaction logic for AI-driven chat and voice experiences
- Build, test, and refine prompts, system messages, and guardrails for LLM-based applications
- Improve model accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and optimise responses for clarity, empathy, and context
- Develop and deploy AI solutions using LLM platforms, APIs, and backend integrations
- Configure and maintain components such as RAG pipelines, vector databases, memory systems, and context management
- Analyse conversation logs, model outputs, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and responsible AI standards, including safe-completion flows for sensitive scenarios
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to translate requirements into scalable AI features
