Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in automation and observability using a modern technology stack
- Proficient in Python coding (80% of the role)
- Experience with Ansible
- Familiarity with code change tracking and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
- Experience with tools like Loki, Cortex, and REST API
- Ability to debug complex issues beyond provided documentation
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience with PyKit, Perl, and PowerShell is advantageous
- Exposure to backup or storage products is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work as part of a global team
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for improving the reliability of the data protection plant
- Implement automation and observability solutions to address underlying issues and accelerate service resumption
- Work closely with the operations team to understand and resolve pain points
- Utilize modern technology stacks while also working with legacy technology when necessary
- Understand and articulate complex technical solutions to ambiguous customer requirements
