Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows client environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services
- Experience with device/application management using Intune
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in Windows client devices, networking, and Microsoft 365 services
- Familiarity with user and group administration in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory
- Demonstrated ability to manage timely patching, updates, and maintenance of the Windows desktop estate
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with SLAs
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across various platforms
- Administer and manage Microsoft Intune for effective Windows endpoint deployment and application delivery
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365 applications, including Office, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and account setup
- Document fixes, processes, and known errors in the IT knowledge base
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior staff or vendor support as necessary
- Participate in projects and system improvements, including deployments and upgrades
- Ensure systems and services maintain security, resilience, and compliance with IT policies
Description
We are offering a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 3 days a week onsite in our Bristol office. This contract position as a 2nd Line Support Engineer pays between 200.00 - 250.00 GBP daily. As part of our IT team, you will support our 130 staff members in addressing technical incidents and service requests while ensuring high levels of customer service and system reliability.
