Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience developing WordPress websites in an agency or in-house setting.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), custom post types, and theme development.
- Familiarity with page builders and when not to use them.
- Experience integrating APIs and third-party services.
- Bachelors degree (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.
- Convert designs into responsive, accessible WordPress websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Manage all technical aspects of the CMS, including updates, backups, and security.
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve compatibility issues across browsers and devices.
- Ensure best practices in UX, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
- Assist with website migrations, hosting setup, and domain management as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging WordPress tools and technologies.
