- Hands-on experience with Linux servers and physical infrastructure
- Experience in O365 Administration and Windows Support
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and migration strategies
- Background in designing and implementing IT systems
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily IT operations and manage a team of 4 IT professionals
- Ensure secure network and data systems
- Lead IT transformation initiatives aligning IT with business goals
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Identify cybersecurity risks and lead ISO/IEC 27001/27002 compliance
- Conduct audits related to cybersecurity
- Develop, maintain, and test backup and recovery plans for disaster recovery
Description
We are a leading technology business based in Reading, seeking to hire a Contract IT Manager / Head of IT for a 6 to 9 month initial contract (Outside IR35). This hybrid role involves overseeing a small IT team while driving our IT transformation journey. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment with a day rate of £500 to £600 per day, allowing for flexible working arrangements with 1-2 days onsite.
