Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in Oracle APEX development, ideally within secure or regulated environments. A strong understanding of the Oracle APEX toolset and best practices is essential. You should possess the ability to interpret and analyze business requirements into scalable, technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must. Current SC Clearance is strongly preferred; however, we may consider candidates with recently lapsed clearance.
Responsibilities
As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will lead the technical design and development of solutions within Oracle APEX. You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Database Administrators, and infrastructure teams to understand and translate business needs effectively. Supporting the production of technical documentation and participating in code reviews will also be part of your role. We expect you to contribute to a collaborative and agile working environment within a high-profile program.
Description
We are a leading defence sector organization seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for an initial 6-month contract, supporting key programs related to through-life engineering support for the UK Naval and Submarine fleet. The position is hybrid, requiring you to be on-site 2 days a week in Bristol, Leicester, or Plymouth, with a pay structure of £475-£525 per day (Umbrella, depending on experience). This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical national defence infrastructure.
