Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Expertise in ad hoc database queries using SQL or SQL tools like Toad.
- Experience testing web interfaces and data-load interfaces and reports.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills to produce formal test specifications and test plans.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, priority allocation, and task management skills.
- Strong presentation skills to effectively present test results to individuals and groups.
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
- Please note that we can only consider candidates with an existing right to live and work in the UK.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive set of test scripts to evaluate the functionality and performance of product components developed in-house.
- Define and report meaningful test metrics to support decision-making by the project manager and to meet product acceptance criteria.
- Provide complex technical expertise to engineering management in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced testing personnel.
Description
I am excited to offer a competitive hourly pay rate for this position, which is an inside IR35 work engagement. The role is based in Leatherhead, Surrey, and offers a hybrid working model—3 days in the office and 2 days from home. As part of our team at Technical Staffing Resources (TSR), the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, you will be a key contributor to the development and testing of web-based systems that support various business units throughout KBR globally.
