Must:
We require candidates who have the right to live and work in the UK, as the successful candidate will need to obtain security clearance (BPSS/SC). Candidates should have experience with inventory management solutions implemented across the breadth of UK Defence, and a solid understanding of the UK MoD processes and systems for Inventory Management. Applicants must have the ability to understand inventory management and optimisation change needs, assess the business impact of changes, and effectively identify requirements across business services. Proficiency in stakeholder management, strong communication skills, and excellent analytical abilities are essential.
Responsibilities
As a UK Defence Inventory Management Specialist within our FDSS team, I will expect you to work closely with Business Architects. You will apply a structured business architecture approach to capture, define, optimise, and implement an enhanced inventory management solution for FDSS. Your tasks will include describing and capturing optimised inventory functions, documenting functional and non-functional requirements for change initiatives, and communicating the impact of inventory management on various stakeholders. You will support business analysts in modelling current and future optimised inventory management processes and analyse data to assist clients in decision-making.
Description
We are offering a competitive hourly pay rate with the opportunity for outside IR35 work engagement and remote working for a duration of 6 months, with occasional visits to client sites. The project background includes working with the National Armament Directorate on initiatives such as Sourcing and Procurement, Inventory Management and Planning, Storage and Stock Management, and Logistics and Distribution.
