Requirements
Must:
- Proven Linux server management experience (ideally Ubuntu).
- Container-based deployment skills such as Kubernetes, Podman, or Docker.
- Experience with DRBD, Btrfs, Btrbk, NFS, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of server networking, VLANs, DNS, and firewalls.
- Experience operating distributed computing or cluster environments such as Slurm.
- Familiarity with VPNs (company uses Wireguard).
- Proficiency in large data storage solutions.
- Competence in hardware diagnostics and component replacement.
- Support experience with Windows and Entra, as well as macOS.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance and security of IT systems.
- Physically install server hardware.
- Support HPC/machine learning workloads behind APIs.
- Maintain internal compute systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver hosted tools effectively.
- Influence the choice of deployment technology for backends.
