Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer with 3-5 years of commercial C++ development experience. You should hold an Engineering-related degree and possess modern C++ design experience, as well as Linux configuration experience (specifically with Yocto/PetaLinux). Familiarity with developing on Embedded Linux is essential. Additionally, we value experience in developing security/defense command and control software and working with GIS (Geographic Information System) data. The ideal candidate will also have:
- A technical degree with software content.
- High-performance C++ development skills (C++ 11/14/17/20).
- A minimum of 3-4 years of commercial software design experience.
- Experience with Linux configuration (Yocto/PetaLinux).
- Proficiency in developing on Embedded Linux.
- Exposure to networking and communication protocols.
- Strong mathematical skills and real-time data processing capabilities.
Responsibilities
As a Mid-level Software Engineer, you will be tasked with designing and developing software for our cutting-edge radar, security, and surveillance systems. Your work will involve creating software for our radar systems, including external radar control systems and interfaces. You will have the opportunity to improve software capabilities and enhance user experience.
Description
We offer a competitive salary in the range of £40-55K, depending on your experience and relevant skills. The position allows for hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week. Additional benefits include 25 days of holiday, private medical cover, life assurance, a pension scheme, and more. Please note that applicants must be fully eligible to work in the UK.
