Requirements

Must:
We are seeking a Data Analyst with over 8 years of experience, possessing a solid understanding of cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, and business intelligence reporting. You should have hands-on experience in 2-3 large data analytics projects involving cloud data warehouses, specifically within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. A Bachelors degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree as a plus. You must demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a strong grasp of banking regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our digital transformation initiatives by collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze and execute data analysis strategies that enhance our banking services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Gathering and documenting detailed business requirements to align with business goals and regulatory compliance. - Working closely with programmers, engineers, and management to identify needs and devise data analysis strategies. - Interpreting data and transforming it into actionable insights for critical decision-making by the organization. - Performing quality and meaning assessments on data, filtering data through rigorous reviews of reports and performance indicators. - Preparing comprehensive analysis reports that clarify the data analysis steps for stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making. - Collaborating with data engineers and architects on designing data storage, processing, and analytics solutions to facilitate data-driven strategies. - Keeping updated with industry regulations and best practices in banking and cloud computing to ensure our systems remain compliant and secure. - Generating comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals. - Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.

Description


You are expected to have proficiency in technologies such as AWS, Power BI, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with AWS Data Services. While not mandatory, familiarity with data modeling and data engineering, specifically technologies like Spark, Athena, Glue, and AI/ML-based analytics, is advantageous. Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies is beneficial. You should excel in collaborative environments, adapt to changing business needs, and have outstanding communication and presentation skills.
