Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in Test-Driven Development practices
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and executing automated tests
- Experience establishing test strategies from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to coach experienced engineers
- Strong requirements elicitation and analysis skills
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Advantageous: C / C++ / MatLab / Simulink
- Advantageous: Jetson Orin NX / Linux
- Advantageous: Hardware-software integration
- Advantageous: Simulation or real-time embedded systems
- Advantageous: Safety-critical or high-reliability systems experience
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical leader, coach, and change agent, embedding Test Driven Development (TDD) practices into a team of engineers.
- Shape engineering culture and introduce TDD principles while maintaining clear organisational separation between development and testing.
- Coach the team and act as a hands-on test practitioner, personally designing, implementing, and executing project tests.
- Provide objective evidence of software quality in line with quality assurance requirements.
