Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Field Technician (ideally within Production Print)
- Strong technical knowledge of print hardware and related systems
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- Good electrical and mechanical engineering understanding
- Confidence using diagnostic tools and reading technical instructions
- Good IT and networking skills
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Understanding of service procedures and best practice
Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to service, repair and maintain print and processing equipment
- Install and de-install devices as part of customer projects, keeping customers updated
- Escalate technical issues quickly to minimise downtime
- Identify opportunities for additional services or upgrades during your visits
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent support
- Manage stock and parts in your vehicle to maximise first-time fix rates
- Work occasional shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
Description
Were looking for a Print Engineer to join our team covering Essex, North London, and Kent. In this role, you will support our customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial print equipment. We offer a competitive salary of up to £38,000, along with an annual bonus and overtime opportunities. You will also receive a company car and fuel card.
