Requirements
Must:
- Basic understanding of infrastructure components - servers, networks, storage, applications.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (SolarWinds Mandatory).
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn SolarWinds platform administration.
- Familiarity with IT service desk environments and ticketing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practice.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and action SolarWinds alerts, events, and customer raised MaaS tickets.
- Perform initial investigation, triage, and escalation.
- Maintain data accuracy across monitored estates (node status, polling, alert configuration).
- Work closely with the Service Desk to ensure timely ticket updates and customer communication.
- Assist in enhancing monitoring configuration, dashboards, and alerting logic under guidance from senior engineers.
- Support platform health checks, documentation updates, and basic troubleshooting of SolarWinds modules (NPM, SAM, etc.).
- Follow service management processes including Incident, Request, Problem, and Event Management.
