Requirements
Must:
As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will need:
- Certified Application Architect and System Architect.
- Extensive work experience in enterprise architecture with proficiency in the Salesforce platform.
- Strong application design skills, along with expertise in data, integration, and security architecture.
- Excellent presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying ideas to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented and quick to learn new business models and technologies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop appropriate materials for different audiences.
- An attentive listener, able to connect with individuals across various roles.
- Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integration.
- Resourcefulness and innovative thinking to solve problems effectively.
- Capability to advocate best practices to various stakeholders within a large organization.
- Background in application design and development.
- In-depth understanding of the constraints and capabilities of Salesforce.
- Strong technical foundation, including advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java), relational database concepts, and structured system analysis methods.
- Successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.
- Understanding of web services and technologies that facilitate data transport within enterprise environments and interactions with Salesforce.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Own all end-to-end technical aspects of Salesforce programs, including data migration, data quality, system integrations, third-party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance business value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clearly communicating complex concepts through creative and prescriptive thinking.
- Identify and proactively manage potential risks, ensuring all issues are thoroughly resolved.
- Manage customer expectations and navigate solutions to complex challenges alongside clients and partners.
- Review and refine the direction of projects, ensuring key deliverables remain on track and maintainable.
- Partner with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions that meet their needs.
- Lead strategic initiatives aimed at growing the practice and enhancing the knowledge base of the community.
- Shape the programs vision and advise on enabling technologies, specifically the Salesforce Platform.
- Lead the technical architecture for enterprise-level engagements.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
- Travel to client sites as necessary.
