Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of C++, C#, or Java (at least one required).
- Practical experience with C/C++ and SQL.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Understanding of low-level programming concepts.
- Strong mathematical ability (A-level Maths or equivalent).
Desirable Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a numerate science field (2:1 or higher).
- Interest in financial markets and calculations.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Ambition to grow into a leadership role in the future.
Responsibilities
In this role, we are looking for a talented Software Developer who will take ownership of our backend data processing systems, which operate on both Linux and Windows. These systems are crucial for gathering and preparing financial data, including index values, stock prices, broker forecasts, and more, for distribution across our products. You will become the go-to expert for our data pipeline, troubleshooting issues and designing future improvements to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to client-facing web-based products using JavaScript and HTML.
