Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer with a minimum of two years' experience in a web development role. You should have a strong portfolio that showcases your creative flair and a proven ability to deliver exceptional work in a production environment. Essential skills and experience include:
- Solid experience in developing and coding attractive and creative sites using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive CMS knowledge, with a strong preference for WordPress and WooCommerce, including experience building custom themes.
- Proficiency with responsive design.
- A firm understanding of web standards and SEO best practices to ensure optimized and accessible designs.
- A compelling portfolio exhibiting your best creative web development work.
Additionally, while not essential, further education in Graphic Design, Art, Communication, or Digital Media, as well as knowledge of SEO, would be desirable.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our dynamic development team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Developing bespoke, user-friendly, and optimized websites from wireframes and briefings, ensuring best practices are always followed.
- Taking charge of updating and amending existing client websites, keeping them fresh and functional.
You will work closely with designers and other developers in a collaborative, self-managing environment. We encourage open communication, shared ideas, and mutual support to achieve outstanding results. Your input on all aspects of the business will be highly valued!
