I am looking for a candidate with proven experience in portfolio assurance, PMO analysis, project controls, or programme reporting within complex change environments. You should possess strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting large, multi-source data sets and identifying meaningful insights. Excellent written communication skills are essential for producing polished, professional, and executive-level reports. Proficiency with PPM tools is required, and experience with KeyedIn is ideal. A strong knowledge of project and programme management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) is necessary. You should have advanced skills in Excel and a working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI. Additionally, you need to demonstrate the ability to challenge constructively, influence stakeholders, and support improvements across the portfolio. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines are also critical. Experience working in large, matrixed organizations is advantageous. A degree in Business, Project Management, Data Analysis, or a related field (or relevant experience) is expected. Certifications in PMO, project management, or analysis (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, P3O) are beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I would like you to support the PMO and Portfolio Leads in assessing project health, progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple programmes. You will conduct independent assurance reviews to evaluate compliance with delivery frameworks, stage gate requirements, and governance standards. Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and emerging risks within project artifacts, plans, and RAID logs will be part of your duties. You will also monitor adherence to project controls and highlight areas requiring intervention or escalation. Your responsibilities will include collating and interpreting complex project data sets from tools such as KeyedIn, Jira, MS Project, Power BI, and financial systems. You will produce high-quality portfolio dashboards, status reports, and detailed executive summaries for senior stakeholders, translating technical or detailed delivery information into clear, concise, business-focused insights. Developing and maintaining standardized reporting templates to drive consistency will also be key. Additionally, you will validate data submissions from project managers and challenge discrepancies or incomplete data while analyzing progress, budget positions, forecasting, resource demand, and risk exposure across the portfolio. Identifying trends, performance gaps, and early warning indicators to support proactive decision-making will be essential. Finally, you will contribute to portfolio planning cycles and capacity planning reviews.
