Requirements
Must:
- You’ll bring 3+ years of experience in automation tooling, with strong skills in Java and SQL. Hands-on expertise with Selenium, WDIO/Cucumber, RestAssured, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) is essential.
- You’ll be responsible for developing and executing test plans, building scalable automation suites, reviewing test coverage, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring defects are clearly tracked and resolved.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, API testing, database comparisons, and tools such as JIRA or Xephyr is essential.
- Exposure to IAM, SailPoint, SCIM, REST, LDAP, OIDC, graph databases, or ServiceNow/Active Directory integrations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support and mentor team members are crucial.
Responsibilities
- You will drive high-quality delivery across web, API, and cloud-based platforms by focusing mainly on automation with occasional manual testing.
- You will play a key role in building and enhancing automated test frameworks, ensuring that our testing processes are both effective and efficient.
Description
We are looking for a sharp, proactive Automation Test Engineer to join our financial services client based in Sheffield. You will be required to be in the office 2-3 days per week, and please note that the contract is inside IR35. If youre a detail-driven engineer who loves solving problems, improving processes, and delivering reliable automation at pace, we’d love to hear from you.
