Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of automation test expertise.
- Strong Java/SQL skills, and experience with tools such as Selenium, WDIO/Cucumber, RestAssured, plus CI/CD integration via Jenkins or GitLab.
- Experience in designing/executing test plans, creating scalable automation frameworks, defining performance test strategies, and ensuring full traceability across Agile or Waterfall deliveries.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), API testing, database comparisons, and tools like JIRA/Xephyr is essential.
- Background in IAM, SailPoint, SCIM, REST, LDAP, OIDC, graph databases, or ServiceNow/AD integrations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with tech leads, Cloud Security, DevOps, and Application Engineering teams to test secure identity and access workflows.
- Use an automation-first approach to test robust IAM and identity lifecycle workflows.
- Ensure secure service integrations support enterprise-level cloud and Identity operations.
- Drive quality, mentor others, and improve processes in a fast-moving environment.
Description
We are looking for an Automation Test Architect to join our financial services client based in Sheffield. The role requires being in the office up to 3 days per week and is contracted inside IR35. We seek a highly skilled Lead Automation Test Architect with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), focusing on testing secure, scalable identity workflows across Google Cloud Platform.
