Requirements
Must:
- Secure environment experience (Defence/MOD/government etc)
- Network Engineering with WAN/LAN experience
- Proficient in networking routing protocols, particularly OSPF
- Experience with VPNs and Network Security
- Ability to create High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD)
- Experience with Data Centre network architecture
- Familiarity with high assurance IP encryptors
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and Whitebox network infrastructure
- Experience with NSX
- Cisco CCNP certification
- Experience in cryptology and cryptography (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of technology professionals on a Defence/MOD project
- Build network solutions from scratch
- Ensure network security and compliance in a secure environment
- Develop and implement network architecture and design
- Perform troubleshooting and optimization of network services
- Create and maintain documentation for network designs and configurations
- Participate in security clearance processes as required
Description
We are a Defence consultancy located in Farnborough, seeking a specialist network engineer for a contract position outside IR35. This role involves contributing to an essential project within a secure environment among a talented team of professionals. Successful candidates will need to be security cleared (SC Level) prior to appointment.
